    Anyone else noticing an influx of jackasses at their gym due to new years resolutions? I've seen the same thing last year and they start to trickle off by late February.

    They keep hogging up all the equipment working nothing but the 'glamour' muscles.

    it happens at every gym. it quiets down in february. just before the summer at the end of may/ beginning of june there is also a spike in new members.

    some guy had a heart attack at my gym on monday. guy hasnt worked out in a decade but tries to come into the gym and be superman.

    I'd try something else, but double choco is usually the first option I see when I buy a 10lb bag, I don't think they had all the flavors when I first started ordering those bags, but maybe now they have the new flavors. Anything but Vanilla and I'm down to try it..

    eh, i guess i'd use it if i could throw a bunch of other shit in the shake and blend it, but straight vanilla w/ milk + water tastes like shit imo

    i've tried strawberry, it's not that bad but I'll just stick to double choco

    vanilla is good if youre blending shakes with fruit. but who has time for that?
    so plain chocolate for chugging post work out.

    and the resolutioners have been gone since february at my gym.

    the resolutioners are probably spring breakers more than anything else

    every year our school gym gets LOADED with people from the first day of classes in jan until the first week of march. after SB, the shit drops off like crazy. can't wait.

    my fav is during the summer when NO ONE is on campus and i get the gym to meself.

    the past 2 weeks at our gym were crazy. EVERYONE was in there doing abs and bis. that's it. it was IMPOSSIBLE to get bis done, so i just did legs twice.

    So today I busted in at 235lbs. I got big and I let myself go in the past 6 months. While I'm impressed in some of the goals I have reached strength wise and some positive size gains, I sacrificed a lot of my focus away from staying in shape.

    Time to change up my routine from a 'power-lifting' standpoint, to maximizing fat loss. I shall at least treat these last 6 months as a learning experience for the future when I want to get back into a 'powerlifting' routine. It also doesn't make sense for me to continue lifting so heavy (such as the 5/3/1 program) when I'm still babying my back injury.

    I will be following this routine from this article, I'll start doing the heavy weights when my back is feeling better:

    Takes like 2-4 minutes and tastes much better, but to each his own...I definitely get lazy sometimes and just throw in 2 scoops of ON whey w/ some milk + water and chug.
