Don't the slotted and drilled rotars crack in the cold climates?
Smart as a sport coupe...practical as a station wagon.

Drilled & Slotted rotors don't crack because of weather conditions or even just because their are holes in them. When a Drilled & Slotted rotor cracks it is usually because it is a poor design. By selecting the proper rotor for the application, you shouldn't not have any problems with cracking. Just be aware of the quality of rotor you are buying. We only recommend Drilled & Slotted rotors for street driving, we offer Drilled & Slotted rotors in our one-piece and two-piece selection for certain applications.

I have been running the Drilled & Slotted rotors in my Integra for about 8 months now, and have not had any problems of cracking and they perform very well.

Under racing conditions we recommend that you go with a slotted finish and a two-piece design, keeping your disc cooler, and your rotors performing better / lasting longer.
