What kinda work would I want to have done or do myself in prep for a turbo? Say budget is tight since I have to buy the turbo so what would you do in stages? - THANKS

if the block is ok..miles shouldn't matter, port, and polish would be nice, it should free up your internals a little...and if you're afraid of those things breaking, buy new ones...

I can't stress this enough- BE CAREFUL. LS motors are known for throwing rods. Upgrade your internals if you can afford it, especialy if you already have 100k+ miles on it.
