Looking to replace my tired ass stock motor from my 91 Integ and looking to get a SI motor. Will I have to replace my tranny as well? I just got a rebuilt LS tranny last year. I would rather not replace the tranny, but if I have to, then oh well.. Please let me know thanks

Yes, it will bolt up to any B-series block. The tranny is especially good for forced induction because the gears are a bit longer than any other honda manual gearbox. But because of its longer gearing, it will take you longer to get through them if you aren't making a lot of power....basically, if you met up with another 91 teg that had the same everything you do, he would be a bit faster if he had a YS1 (92-93gsr cable) or Y1 (89-91 jdm b16a1 cable) tranny.

if you want more info on gearing, which tranny's are cable/hydro...etc...go here:
