Did u people see the new 2003 vette.. ran 0-60 in 1.9 secs.. beat a Fighter Jet off the start.. I was watching Speed TV and seen it.. to bad it cost 128k... but it is still one bad ass mo fo..

thats not the new vette. thats the lingenfelter (as stated above) from the tuning company.

where you got the idea that chevy would mass produce that beast is beyond me...

Well on Speed Vision they said by the year 04 of 05 they would be in production.. for 178k

from what i heard the next generation of vets will have 427's that will have 500 hp. :o

It would be crazy to have a vette coming stock with 500 horses and running under 2 seconds for 0-60. Imagine what lingenfelter will do to that thing then. :o :o

But vettes will have to be improved drastically, becuz the new cobra is gonna eat them for a lower price.

Z06's run about 12.4 in the quarter. Still a half second faster than the Cobra at 12.8 - 12.9.

I've heard of a '03 Cobra running 12.3s in stock form. ZO6's are damn nice and fast, but I'd still rather have a Cobra.

It won't run 0-60 in less than 2 seconds that particular vette had twin turbos with the 427

these fast (maybe too fast for most) cars are becoming more and more affordable, and everybody is making them or moding them. think about it, what will we be capable of and have in 20 years. just thought id pipe in because the lingefelter vette is getting old, god bless that vette.
