first off all hey guys and girls..... I just got a 92 civic dx 5 speed and dont know what too do with it have about $2000 for mods need a good site too buy some mods let me know thanks...

dx... hmm. well, that's a d15b7 motor which has very little to offer i'm afraid, non-vtec too. i wouldn't really sink any money into it unless your just looking for some additional efficiency or a better ride. nothing is going to help the performance end unless it's boosted or the engine is rebuilt with forged internals. however, i might take a look at this thread to see which mods are recommended for starters.
personally, i would just leave the car as is and maybe work my way up to an engine swap or eventually sell the car and get something a bit more high-end. if you have $2k available and the car is in decent shape, you might be able to upgrade to an EX down the road. the dx is fine as a dd but you're just gonna waste your money on "mods" that do nothing. i mean your lucky to gain 1HP with an intake kit, just as an example.
