Wow, lots of things are definitely gonna change I bet. I doubt anytime SOON, but I can definitely see psychological tests, deployment time, rest time, even the next decision about deploying more troops could change by this.

Nidal Malik Hasan, hard core Muslim name, he screamed "Allahu Akbar!" — an Arabic phrase for "God is great!" — before opening fire Thursday. If anything they seem to be using the angle that prolonged deployment and the continuation of the war is just HURTING military personnel. To be honest, I haven't seen ANY talk about "they are here" yet......of course FOX wouldn't surprise me if they do use that angle.

there was a scene in "The Men Who Stare At Goats" where a soldier was on fort grounds naked and shooting ppl... nobody in the theatre laughed it was kinda uncomfortable lol.

btw the movie wasn't all that great; hard to recommend...

Prior to our involvement over there, Islamism was a dying movement, mostly made up of local idealists trying to convert their particular regions to accept a theocratic government.

They turned their sights to foreign occupiers after they saw that people weren't exactly clamoring for an Islamic state. When we started bombing the shit out of the region, people actually began to side with the crazies.

We're doing a great job of radicalizing an entire generation of Muslims. They don't hate the West for rock music and short skirts; they hate us being there.
