I checked the crank and cam shaft. They're good.
I ran the timing light on it. And Its completely way off. It sounds a little over accelerated. I need a little advice. ![]() |

If you have a timing light, you can set the timing.
Short service check connector (blue 2-wire connector) under the glove box. It may be installed in a "holder". Pinch and release. Short w/ a jumper wire between connections. Connect timing light, start engine, and aim light at the timing marks (remove a rubber grommet near the starter on the bell housing). Loosen and adjust distributor to align white mark w/ pointer (15 BTDC). If you don't have a timing light set the distributor about midrange on the adjustment slot. That should be close enough to allow the ignition timing to be correctly timed by ECU. good luck

I did that. Maybe if I had a diagram for the distributor. So I knew How to set it.

Not sure I understand your problem.
You move the distributor and align white mark (illuminated and frozen by strobe light) on the rotating flywheel w/ the fixed pointer. If you did that correctly, the distributor is aligned, assuming you re-tightened the bolts afterwards. Don't forget to remove the jumper from the service check connector. good luck
