Default tax season upcomming

Home buyers credit: if you bought a home this year, when you file in january you are eligible for a $8000 credit. if you bought it earlier this year, and filed an amendment to your 08 return, congrats you failed on $500, taking home $7500.

if you have a kid up until dec 31, 11:59:59, you may claim said child for the whole year.

I do believe also the standard deductions went up this year, but will get back into it with in a few weeks.

I usually talk to novi about this but i havent seen him in a bit

Good to hear you guys are getting breaks. Our backards assed gov't decided it would be a good idea to raise taxes, decrease credits and start taxing on things that were previously exempt.

IN for $8000 home credit....true/false that it got extended?......also the $7500 credit isn't fully refundable like the $8k credit correct? It's basically just an interest free loan....also you hafta stay in the home for 3 years to keep the full 8k.
