    Heads/lower intake are the restriction on a stock 5.0 motor. Yes you want the motor to breath, but too big and you loose velocity. Ill bet you have some throttle response problems, that 75mm is like an on/off switch lol.

    low end is not my goal

    I am in the slow preparation for 10K rpms, all motor, 375-425 hp

    but everything is on hold, looks like I will be moving into a much larger house in 2-3 months

    hehe. You should be looking into Jessel stuff....their shaft mount rockers are rated to 10k+ rpms. Oh yeah and they cost $7,000 lol.

    I was thinking about buying a off road use only crate motor, I think it may be cheaper

    or I could get one of those 5.0 cammer motors

    Mods as of now: Unorthodox Racing Under Drive Pulley, Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, MSD Blaster 4 tower coil, Nology wires, ngk plugs, Megan Racing header, Ebay short ram intake, full 2.5" header back exhaust into an apexi n1 muffler with no cat or resonator, spec stage 3 clutch, pacesetter adjustable short shifter, no a/c, no p/s, 42 lb/hr injectors, missing link.

    i know a few of those things sound crazy for a n/a motor, but i had them on there when the motor was turbo back in the day. very soon, i'll be turbo once more.

    not with those mods.. with all my mods i'm probably making like 165 at the crank.. i think you're confused with a b16 cuz your motor won't make power past 6900 rpm.
