How would I go about making a 'cover' like this for my current tails?

you need to first purchase Skyline R34 tailights (around 500-600)
then you need to find a body shop to custom mold your trunk, back end, and both back fenders for you to fit them, and then you gotta wire them up

i dont know exact costs, but id say 2 grand or more total. correct me if im wrong

You mean just to make a covering yo cover up your existing rear lights?

Just make a tamplate and cut it out of your favorite material... :D

What material would you suggest? All that comes to mind is fiberglass. :D

A right layout of fiberglass molded perfectly would definitely do the job. Just make sure to get a high gloss finish out of it when you're all finished.

And depending on your tastes. You can also get someone to mold you some carbon fiber. Just made sure it's grade A
