    Default Trunk Release

I'm going to get a keyless entry for my 94 ls and i want to know if i can use the power trunk release from the newer tegs?

Newer tegs have power trunk release? WHERE? I can't find mine! :D

Seriously, whachutalkingboutwillis? I've got a 99 GSR and the only damn way to open the trunk is to physically walk outside the car and open it with the rear slider latch. I scared the cops at the airport when they asked to look in my trunk and I got out of the car.... tense for a minute.

I thought the new tegs had a power trunk release.

    My bad.

So is there an easy way to make it a power one?

wait wait wait. i remember someone said that on the newer integras that the trunk release pops open. the old ones you pull the lever and nothing happens. oh well i might be wrong, but does any other remote companies have that trunk release option? i just want mines to pop open just a tiny bit so that it doesnt take that much muscle + energy to open the hatchback. especially when i might have something heavy in my other arm

trunk release?..man! i wish i had that for my gay-integra. everytime i want to open my trunk i have to walk outside and F*** use to key to open it. waste of time, STUPID Honda/Acura don't know how to make integras

the newer ones have a lever that activates a small motor to release the trunk....It wont pop it open but if the doors are unlocked you can just hit the lever and the trunk will open (no key needed unless the doors are locked)

If you wanted to you could run some wiring to triger the motor to release it but that is kinda pointless since you still have to be there to lift it up.
Ide just like to inform you that both a Civic and an Integra only has ONE header, and Its spelled VTEC.

wheres this lever at? the 98+ tegs i have seen dont have one. my 96 has a little lever on the left side right by the gas lid release, but its not electronically activated, its just a braided cable like the hood release

    Wrong..

The old ones had an interior latch that you pulled to pop the trunk.. The new ones utilize the lever.. LoL, When I first bought my car, I was like, uhh, how do you open this thing?

the lever is on the outside located where you would place your hand to lift it.

Older tegs have a lever around the area where the gas and hood release is. Newer Integras do not. The only way to open the truck is to get out and do it.
