New MC Server
Hey Guys,
Just started playing MC recently again and noticed no one had a server up.
me and a buddy are splitting the bill on an 18 person server if anyone is interested in playing. Running Bukkit, Essentials, LWC and all the fun stuff.

been forever since i screwed around with that game...

got a sick underground railroad going on again. About 4 of us playing right now
last time i fired it up i had a crazy rail system that went from one end of the world to the other and back. it carved in and out of the mountains and bridged over valleys and shit was amazing. i'll have to get the retail version though cuz i think that was still one of the beta builds.
if you bought alpha/beta you can access my server.

Permissions are now fully functional. Whitelisting is turned off, all guests will have chat abilities and a few commands but no build commands until they shoot me an email.
If you wanna join the server and check it out, you no longer need to be whitelisted to do so
will this server have creative mode?
Just asking because creative mode kills it for me.
also what seed did you use? Hopefully something awesome

C. This server is Survival, I do not like creative either (all these give commands, etc.) the commands most people will have access to will be /warp, /tp, and /home. I agree that creative seems to kill it for me.
The difficulty is set to Normal w/ monsters spawning although I do run the /time day command for some users as well because building at night is sometimes frustrating.
As for the status of the server, I would very much like to keep it up full time now. The guy I am working with (financial backing) is very much into this and is very happy with all the work I have been putting into the server so I do not think funding is going anywhere, in fact he has already stated that he will be increasing server slots if we start to show alot more interest.
Currently I am Co-Founder / Lead Developer / Lead Server Admin whereas the other dude is basically backing it financially and he is doing some custom server skins he is currently working on and some other little stuff. I am more the techy of course.
As for the seed, we rocked a random one. It adds to the server feel for me personally, whats the point in random terrain if you run a seed, although if there is alot of interest in the future, I can create a new world (will vote on seeds on website)

also, be afraid. Saw that Mojang is going to have improved mob pathfinding in the next update. Meaning, they'll get you.
