Default Help me choose a camera

Not looking to spend a fortune, max probably 600-700 range. Just need something that can take nice quality pictures and be able to play with the ISO, shutter speed, and all that fun stuff. I also like shooting at night. I've been doing some online research and I've taken a shining to some of these

Canon PowerShot SX1 IS or SX30 IS

    Fujifilm FinePix HS10

    Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40

    Pentax K-X User-Friendly DSLR Lens Kit - DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL Lens

Sony DSLR-A330L Camera and Lens Kit (DT18-55 SAM Kit Lens)

Sony DSLR-A380L Camera and Lens Kit (DT18-55mm SAM Kit Lens)

Sony SLT A33 with Translucent Mirror Technology and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens

uuggh, camera shopping is alot harder than I thought lol

Wow forgot about this post.. heh

Ended up getting the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ40 for a great price, so far i've been pretty happy with it (shoots amazing video, nice zoom) but I'm probably going to want to upgrade again in a couple years. I haven't had a chance to take it outside much cause it's been so bloody cold here all winter and the camera freezez up.

will update with a few pics later

    not true.. compare the following

    nikon 35mm f/1.4G
    canon 35mm f/1.4L

    nikon 135mm f/2
    canon 135mm f/2L

2 of my favorite lenses that i use on my nikon body but cost so much more than they do for canon bodies :\

A great solution would be to buy the latest iPhone, lots of features, including a trusty, HD camera.

Canon PowerShot SX1 IS or SX30 IS

I have always been a fan of the Canon camera as it is easy to use.
