i heard there is devices that can block the polices radar.....anyone esle see or hear of them

yah, my brother has them on his GTP, there are these 2 black boxes that are next to his foglights, they send out radio waves or something and it reflects the cops radar so his screen comes up blank, I guess it works, he hasnt got a ticket with them installed,

the above = illegal = heavy heavy fines if caught

man ud get owned if a cop caught u with one of them on ya car... its like taking his gun... or his hat ( :lol: ) ur meddling with police equiptment.
we aint that hardcore down here in the states... if anything we got cb radios so we can chat in our rides... thas about it

Got the same one. Havent gotten a ticket since iv had it. But i wouldnt get it again i would spend alittle more. and get a better one

I got the cheapest cobra as well, It cost me 29.99 on sale now 59.99 at target, My friend bought a 200 dollar cobra one the next day and we tested them to see difference in range with a cig lighter splitter and they are exactly the same, no difference in range his just has text display where mine has little LEDs :)

oh and if he is next to me in his car or if both detecters are at the same place and he turns his on it makes mine angry...

i bought a cobra from k-mart and i got one ticket with it, i paid $138.00 for it andi guess there was nothing that the radar detector could do since i was going 85mph in a 55 i was going to damn fast and almost lost my license cause of it. :evil: get a cobra i hear everyone likes them or you could look on e-bay and get a nice one real cheap :bigwink:
