On a 6th gen this is the install

lower the steering wheel

Unscrew the 2 screws on the top of the bezel behind the wheel and infront of the cluster. unscrew and set aside.

Now carefully pull out the bezel, you will most likey break the bottom two supporting pins. but that shouldn't hurt it too bad.

Next there are 4 screws holding in the cluster. Unscrew them and set aside.

Next carefully pull out the cluster. There will be two large plugs(blue) and one yellow(?) and one green(cruise control light) plugs. unplug those.

Next get the cluster your replacing with a attach the blue plugs. one on the top and one on the upper left I think.

You may or may not have to deal with the green and yellow plugs with the new cluster(My EK9 didn't)

Screw in the new cluster.

Replace the outer bezel and screw in the top screws.

and that it. Should work fine.

Note This is the install for only 96-00 Civics. Done by myself on a 2000 Civic coupe.

one more thing the material your screwing the screws into is very brittle, don't force them down to much or you may crack something.

I herd if you put on in-da-glows on when you stick the new one over your old one, it can melt off from the glowing lights getting hot. So watch out for that
