Hey all i've decided ima play my way smart and invest in a car alarm i've read up on lo jack and it seems like a great product. Does anyone have this in their car? If you have anything else please respond and lemme know how well your alarm works. I figured i might get the alarm first before i do anything to my car for security reasons of course. Any help and suggestions and recommendations are appreciated....lata all.

lojack. That's all you need.

All other alarms make noise and maybe just kill the starter(still can tow the car, like they did mine in Dec to get my rims) the lojack can actually find your car within the hour after it's stolen. Which will help alot more than an alarm that failed to work.

its not all u need

the more shit u have the car the longer it takes for thieves to bypass it

I had an alarm and club(lol) and I still got my car jacked in the three hours I was in work on the 13th of Dec of 2001. Took the police 24hrs to find my car 2 miles away on blocks minus rims and radio along with some other stuff.

If they're going to steal your car, they're going to steal it. A noise maker or something else will only slow them down.

Alarm with Pager including starter kill and all the good stuff including anti-tow protection it is available, Air Horns, club and make sure you insure everything.... Also catrrying around a nice little 25 helps too... so when your pager goes off you can get some target practice in.... I have both Lojack and compustar and in my opinion lojack is not a deterrent but a nice loud alarm is.

My friend just bought an alarm for his 2002 accord v6, it's a Clifford. This alarm contains Lo Jack, remote start, power locks, paging system, a sensitivity sensor so even if someone is looking in your window it will let out a chirp. It has a feature that if the car is hot wired it will start and run, but only for 30 seconds, then it will just shut it's self off, the only thing that will work will be the brakes. And if someone decides to just break in your car and cut the siren wire off, it comes with a wireless back up siren that is activated when siren 1 is disconnected. It's a bad ass alarm that cost him around $550 with out install, but it's a small price to pay to keep your car safe, and to just keep your car period! I think it's bad when he turns on his car as he is walking towards it and people are like WTF!

Sounds sweet, i'm not worried about pricing as long as it'll save my ass. Good investment will pay off later

Oh yeah but the auto lock. I got one and I attach it to my clutch in my rex 89 si. I'm pretty confident about this auto lock.

Yeah it is ugly and kind of bulky and heavy, but I'm pretty sure you'll overlook that just to keep your car from being jacked. I don't think any fool is gonna want to fuck with your ride no matter how bad ass it is, just paint it or put some stickers on it. :D
