i dont know if they would be faster. 2 stroke vs. 4. I would say top speed ya but off the line the banshee would take it.

but my neighbour snapped his neck on his raptor and is paralyzed so im kinda scared of them.

Yeah the Raptor is bad ass. My best friend owns one and we go ou every other weekend and ride it along with a KTM 200 and the Yamaha 250. I like the way the raptor handles compaired to some of the quads ive riden. Its a nice smooth ride at higher speeds. Anyone else into dirt bikes?

raptor is fast ing both ways it a four stroke so it pulls much harder amd it top out in speed much higher the only bike that can keep is a ds650 or lt500 quadzilla

Since I don't own a car yet I love riding bikes and quads. I had a cr 80, yz 80, ke 100, and I now own a Kawasaki Mojave with a ton of mods. I have friends with Raptors and we ride all the time, nice power, braking and handling.

Raptor may get the shee off the line,but add pipes and the shee will take that Raptor easy, if the tires can grab on the shee that is, unless somebody can't ride. The two stroke reponds to mods ALOT better. And the DS650s are to heavy and big, they just need to stay in the dunes. LT500s/Quadzillas are fast as hell, but only when theyre running which is very little on a lot of them. [/quote]

Garacer, or GAYracer, the Banshee is quicker off the line but in the long run the raptor is almost about 10MPH faster then the Banshee, It only goes 70-75MPH stock as supposed to the Raptor which hits a little over 80MPH. I have a 97 left over Banshee right now and my friend owns a 01 Raptor. and he takes me over all

your actually wrong, read dirt wheels mag they did a 01 line of the best quads and did all the tests the top speed of a Raptor is 86MPH

That's the stupidest thing I've heard all day. Why do you want him to get a warrior? The Raptor is better in every area. I have a Raptor and a friend of mine has a warrior. I also have a few friends with Banshees and 400EXs. The Raptor is faster than all the bikes I just stated. I have a 400EX and I will tell you that the 400EX has the best suspension, but the Raptor has more power. Also the Raptor seat is a little high. I don't really like the 2 stokes because of the noise. I ride in illegal places and I don't really like to call the cops on myself. Go with the Raptor, you will have less maintanence and reverse.

I have a Raptor, I love it. Great quad. As for top speed, I was riding next to my friends car and was still pulling pretty good at 85 but had to slow down for a car so I dont really know the actual top speed im guessing around 90. Raptors have a higher top speed than the banshee and if you can get a good launch will beat it off the line too but it is a littl more tricky to launch than a banshee, plus being a four stroke Raptors are better in trails. Also for a four stroke they sound bad ass. Put a K&N filter on and they fuckin scream. I cant wait this winter im gettin a pipe, k&n, muffler and jet kit. supposed to add 15 horse :)

my brother a 2001 raptor with yosh pipe, k+n filter, jetted, razrs all around, lowered about 3 in fornt 5 in back. and my dad had a 95 banshee toomeys,racing clutch, custom made 2 serted air box,k+n,power reeds, rear razrs. The raptor ran 86mph and banshee ran 83mph and the banshee pulled it the 1st 3 gears then raptor came back and beat it. SO I FIGURED I WOULD PUT THIS IN HERE TO GIVE U MY SAY. THANKS

^^^^ He did all that and only got 86mph out of it? I have a stock 03 raptor and have gotten to 85 before I had to hit the breaks.

DirtBikes own.. i have ridden since i was 6 and raced since then as well.. they are fun as hell.. but i gotta give it up to the raptor owners cuz 86 mph i dont know if i could handle that.. I think i will just stick to racing my motocross at speeds i know i can handle... Hell.. i dont even think my moms car does 86 mph.. Lol

my cuzin has a raptor and i have a warrior mines a 2000 his is 2003 ratpor he has a pipe jet kit and k and N filter man i love his 4 wheeler ride so much smooother than my warrior and the power is unbeilevvable i love it and would trade 3 warriors for it :)
