I am looking into buying a sports bike but dotn know what to get betwen the two. Im not a fan of Honda cars but I am of there bikes.

If there is anyoen familier with both bikes coudl you chime in and give me the advantages abnd disadvantages of each bike.

Im more pushing towards the CBR600F4i simple because there known to be nimble and well balanced.

Im looking to purchase 04 model most likely sicne the 05 models are in now and might be able to get a good deal.

Im only 5"8" so anything thats dimentially larger than a 600 would be silly. Although im told the 750's are the same size dimentially but I dont really need anythign more powerful than a 600 bike. I just want a fun bike thats nimble adn I can take throw around corners. (safely!)

Thanks in advance.

Also how much of a downpayment is expected and what are the common monthly payements if i buy from a dealer? Thanks.

Ok.. where do i start ummmmm i put 950 down and 134 a month for 4 1/2 years on a 6000$ loan ill probably end up paying somewhere around 7500 though, Im gonna get a new loan so the interest isnt as bad.

The thing about Gixxers is that suzuki doesnt update them often all they do is have diff colors every year. the two bikes you are talking about are identical in power and weight, there might be a little edge on the suzuki though but not enough for you or me to notice. The F4i has better ergonomics, seating position, than all the bikes out there.

I suggest goin down a year on the F4i because if you go to honda.com in the motorcycle section look at the 04+ F4i...... They put the gay 1 piece seat on it and completely ruined the lines of the bike because the 600RR took over as the Honda sportbike. So i would suggest looking at 01-03 F4i's and with about 7-10k miles they go for around 3-4.5k

Hope this helps 8)

question: have u ever ridden before? (just curious)

i honestly dont know very much about either, but talk to cbr f4i about it (he might have a little bit of knowledge about at least one of them) but i would get out there and test drive them and dont forget about kawasaki! they have great bikes and are often over looked. good luck

Yes I have ridden before. Im not really interested in Kawasaki much since I havebt heard any rave reviews from there bikes since the early to mid 90's.

CBRF4i, Would a dealer have a used 01-03 bike? Im sure they would since soem peopel would use it towards there down payment.

Im gonna keep the bike relativly stock except maybe for tires & grips. There plenty fast enough fro me stock. Maybe a exhaust.

if you want to eventually race, get a 600rr

if you want to eventually stunt, get a gsxr750

if you just want a piamp bike, get a 636 ninja

I'm assuming you have some decent experience on a bike, and won't kill yourself with these

about the kawi's, the 636's are generally loved and adored by the ppl who ride them
