I was looking into just getting a 95- up gs ( like i said post beofre) and i jus figured i could swap in one of those 4g63 cylcone motors. But the drivetrain wont match will it becuase a gs is front wheel drive and a gsx/tsi are awd right?

No it wont match. Everything on the 420a is on the opposite side on the cyclone (4g63) It can be done however but it will cost you several G's . For what its gonna cost you , you can just buy a factory turbo'ed 2g or 1g. That motor swap is most definitly not the way to go. You can also turbo it.

Go there and do a search.

Competative against whom ? To the everyday civics ? Yea a boosted N/A will rape them.But you only can run about 8psi max on stock internals. Thats maybe high 14's depending on the driver. To start making real power you have to be boosting @15 psi and up. That requires you rebuilding your bottom end which is 2k alone. So basically it will cost you almost 6k to run 13's.

The whole process is fairly simple but if you had 6k laying around would you want to throw it on a allready factory turbo'ed car ? Which can take the abuse of HIGH boost ? Not all people have the option of just buying one so as I said before check www.2gnt.com. You can always buy a used Turbo kit.

cyclones are better then the 420a's haha.

If you want boost buy a turbo dsm in the beginning.

Yup they're no better then the 63's we have here and a lot of times you spend all this money on these fuckin things and they're all fucked up inside anyway.

Yo Teg take BX's advice and dont get involved with the 420A engine, it's a cheaply made engine period
