Acura TL Type-S

What do you all think about this car. I was going to buy a 97 honda accord but it got sold. So i got a altima but im looking to buy a new Acura TL. I was thinking about the Accard but for a bit more get a better car. Let me know what you all think about it.

They're nice. Especially the Type S.

However, I would suggest the RSX Type S. Better chance to have greatter aftermarket following....more mods will be available for upgrades.

I know i should get a RSX but i need a 4 door car. Element of surprise. there will be stuff for it. Im more of an accord fan and that is the better version of an accord. Thanks for all the info. :D

There will be a new Accord right around the corner, but it will have the current 200 hp engine. If hp is your thing you are much better off getting the TL Type S (260 hp), they do have the standard go fast parts for this car (exhaust, header, CAI) to get you a little more than that. Nice car though, a steal for the money as it comes with all options (except Nav but you can order that too).

Some guy where I live has a TL Type S in silver with the type s ground effects deal, stock tints, nice rims, its lowered, has a huge system, and custom dual exhaust. That is a luxorious sports sedan, go for it! Plus you'll be different, its rare you see a custom TL Type S.

TL-TypeS Is a sweet car, but I don't think they come in 6-speed, or do they? I thought only the CL-S had the 6-speed. The last Sedan I knew of having the 6-speed, was the Legend.

I love my TL Type S. It's plenty fast for a family car and is fun to flog around when you remove the child seat and the groceries from the trunk. No 6 speed in TL, need the CL Type S for that. The Maxima is another option, but it only had 222hp when I bought my TL. Besides, sit in both cars and tell which one has better quality.

The Type S has nice 17" tires and sits real low to the ground. The front end is also mean looking with the fogs and cool looking Xenons. People definitely check them out when they see them.
