A lot of people like loud exhaust but I don't, I don't want every cop in my small-azz town to write me up for "harsh and unnecessary noise" like they are threatening. I heard APEXI WS was a quiet one. Any of you know of a decent exhaust system that isn't too loud yet gives decent power? How much HP is taken away by a silencer?

Chech out Thermal or DC Sports. Both great exhausts and pretty quiet from what I have read.

see what i was thinking is, for a b16a or b18 w/turbo or nice n/a engine, you'd need a 2.5 or 3" exaust pipe right? well to quite it down, and still have adiquate air flow, couldent u just go dual exaust with 2 stock honda si exausts?

RS*R (or the Skunk2, which is made by Invidia, which is really the US prescence of RS*R)

My friend has a thermal exhaust... I would definitely not qualify that as
a quiet exhaust. If quiets what you're looking for, look someplace else.

look at the twin canister system (DC Sports) or the twin pass (Muge) for quiet tones and high qaulity and gains.

Also, how quiet? I consider my Evo to be somewhat quiet, but no where near stock

get the DC tc, its frm DC, a well known name and great reputation, and from what i have read and seen its one of the more quiet exhausts on the market.

i have also heard the apexi world sport is a quiet exhaust. i'm looking at getting either that or the dc sports tcs for my car. i also want a quiet exhaust w/ good power gains, and i think both of those work that way.

I have the Thermal "Stealth" Exhaust System and it's perfect if your looking for a very deep sounding exhaust that is not to Loud! It's just right in terms of loudness.

Here's a pic . :)

doesn't the mugen twin loop only come in axel-back? But with the 99-00 si piping size wouldnt that work pretty good?

Get a Greddy. They are quiet as hell. I have a Greddy Evolution cat back and it's quiet as hell. Personally, I don't like it. I prefer loud.
