I'm gonna make this short and sweet. Is it possible to turbo an ITB setup???? And if so, what would be involvd in doing so???

well this is the way i see it. the largest throttle body i can find is 70mm for an h22, versus the ITB setup that has (4) four 50mm ports. Thats 200mm total vs. 70mm; is that pointless????????

to run that setup you need a head that flows like a toilet and the compression of a fuckin diesel to burn all that fuel/air mix so there is really no point to turbocharging it,but if you want to do it its not impossible its just gonna cost you a fourtune

a throttle body bigger then any other restriction has no benefit whatsoever, meaning unless you have TREMENDOUS intercooler pipes and ancillaries its a waste of money. ITBs are a typical allmotot setup, and very if ever used with forced induction. if steph papadakis can run 8s with this h22 and a single TB setup, youll be fine.

Also if Steph can destroke his H22A and rev to 10K so can you :D

You should not be worried about TB setup as of yet. How much to you put to the ground? Until you can turn out maximum psi from a T66 dont even think about an ITB and FI setup.

Who said welding? Why would he need to weld? ITB's are just a replace ment for the stock TB and IM. Its not liek you tap your stock IM and weld on 4 TB's.

im sure he meant piping. there is no off the shelf charge pipe split to 4

yes it has been done and its a waste of time/money...just like the 3-turbo supra and the twin turbo civic...

ITBs can be found on the nissan skyline GTR. Apparently they increase low-end response, but all the bid dawgs change them to single TB.

you can get it to work and it should not be that hard(if ya can weld but it will be a lot of money figure bout 1500 for the ecu 2000 for itb 4000 for turbo kit at least to even run the throttle bodies 1500 for fabrication and thats not labor , hours of tunning, etc and thats only 1/4 your motor set up dont make to much sense i looked into it already ....my suggestion to you is go with a mustang throttle body or even toyota got a 100 cfm for the supras that can be made to work.save your self a bunch of money and headaches..............................rule of thumb if ya dont know whats in :D volved ya dont need it
