Ok here is my situation i will be running the following on a
95 honda civic dx
14b turbo
apexi bov
sc front mount intercooler
apexi exhaust
apexi safc
450cc injectors
walboro intank fuel pump

i have heard people saying that you need to retard your timing when you boost. Obviosuly i could understand why... but ... i am only gonna be running 7-8 psi.
I also talked to people with a setup similar to mine and they said they had no knocking or pinging and there car ran fine......
What are your opinions and back them up.. Thanks

for that amt of boost i'd retard bout 2 degrees..maybe 3

why, because u are boosting. better to retard and avoid detonation until u can get the afc hack tuned with a wideband...once ur tuned u can advance as much as u feel comfortable..

msd 6btm ignition, its about $340 thru summit racing.my buddy has it in his integra,he says it is the best investment he has made for that car you can ajust the retard right inside the car from the drivers seat
