Hey. I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX V-6 and I plan on doing some mods to it. I am probably going to start on with the essentials (Intake, exhaust and Header). I was wondering if anyone had any comments on what I should get or not. For exhaust I am almost positive i am going to get the Greddy Evoulution Exhaust but for intake I seem to be having a problem. I want a AEM CAI but on the website it says that their CAI only goes for 98-01.. I didn't think Hnda made changes to the engine at all so I couldn't think why it wouldn't fit. Is this right information and also.. any good headers I should check out. thanks

There is absolutely no difference between the 2001 and 2002 Accord EX-VL (V6). HMC couldn't think up anything else to add to it, so they just carried it over to the next year. The only big difference in any of the accords is a Accord Special Edition Coupe version instead of just a Sedan. That and I think the EX Accord without leather gets Steering Wheel Radio controls and a 6-disc CD Changer standard.

Let me break it down to ya for the v6. This is what is basically the best for the 98+ V6 accord. Well at least i think so.

AEM CAI w/ Bypass Valve
Comptech Headers, only headers you can get
Greddy Evo Dual exhaust catback system
NGK iridium spark plugs, and bigger wires.
MSD ignition/NOS or ECU/Chip (up to you)
Jackson Racing Supercharger (Up to you)
a modified ecu/chip advances fuel/air, so dont get that and NoS, unless you wanna go BOOM!
now, you have a car worthy of 12-13's.

Wait a minute, Jackson Racing hasn't made a Supercharger for the V6 Accord, unless they just took an Eaton Supercharger and put their name on it, like Comptech did.

Jackson Racing is in the midst of making a supercharger for the 98 on Accords.

Oh, TJCCARDCO, I just wanted to tell you that HKS made a turbocharger for the Accord V6, and if you don't believe me, here's the Motor Trend article:

The tranny will always be the weak link, until a manual comes around.
