Favorite Swap? And why?

B18c1 - GSR
H22a - Prelude
B16a - Civic Si
B18c5 - Type R
B20b - CRV
B18 - LS
B16/B18 - LS/VTEC

Personally I would have to choose the H22a, because it's the biggest 2.2 and has the most potential NA. Eventually I'm going to sell my car and buy a newer Civic and transplant a JDM H22a in there(220HP stock)...if my plans go right, it'll be sick.

i would have to say the b18c5, except for the h22a its the most powerful,192 hp, but with the h22a you have to get rid of your air conditioning, i dont know about anyone else, but need ac during the summer

No offense, but that doesn't really answer a lot.....a few questions...

What kind of HP does that thing put out on a dyno?
What does it run in the 1/4 mile?
Why do you still have stock exhaust manifold and catback on there?

1. Dyno will be in about a month or two (still waiting to get my S-AFC)
2. NO TRACTION (I finished the QTR in fifth gear and spun every gear, with stock tires I couldn't get better than a 2.5 60')
3. Sleeper.

I don't know of any other B series motor that will roast the tires from idle to redline like the B20 (not even supercharged (driven them), turbo charged (not from idle) or all motor modded B series motors)

I updated my website...

If you go there you can see what times I did run and with what problems (problems are listed on the timeslips page, but hidden).

If I were to guess what I would run with those problems fixed it would be high 14s.

if anyone thinks that isn't fast...look at my mods and realized the true potential. this car is basically a stock swap.

there is more planned for the future.

I don't know to much about this so please correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that everyone seems to be saying the H22a was the best and the fastest motor and it has around 190hp but the B18c5 has 200hp and I would think that it also weighs less since it's a 1.8 as opposed to the prelude. So I would think the B18c5 would be the best if you don't agree please let me know why :)

the H22 is better for DRAG RACING ONLY, due to having so much more TORQUE...and in FWD drag racing you want all the weight you can get over the front wheels. USDM H22s came with up to 205HP stock...JDM Type S H22s came with around 240 stock. The TQ difference is like 128 for the B18C5 stock and 160 for the H22.

Hope this helps.
