Would you Take 3 Type R 2ohm voice coil 10's or Two Type R 2ohm 12" if you were wanting to save as much money as possible. and also what amp would be a good choice for either set up.. I was thinking a Rockford 800 4 channel amp... and almost had one... but so S*** head out bid me... only went for 255.

I would take the tens. They cost less and I think 10's always sound nicer then 12's. As for the Amp I am not a big fosgate lover, but I am sure it will do. Compare the price of that amp to Alpine, PPI, PE, and Soundstream.

10's will give tighter bass, as the 12's will play lower bass. It also depends on your taste in music... :) try the new alpine mono amps....very effecient and clean sounding. good luck

depending on wiring configuration and ohmage of subs.
