I was cruizing down lindbergh road on Sat. Night with my fiancee just relaxing and listening to a new CD.
I like to cruise and check out the Imports and domestics because I like them both(especially cyclones, vettes).
I was just cruising when I saw a CRX that looked modded with a body kit, rims, exhaust and gauges inside...The light ahead turns red and i pull up next to him. I look over and his girlfriend was telling him something (driver), probably like "smoke this stock civic", but the guy was pointing forward like he wanted to race. So I guess he wanted to roll, I shook my head to confirm race, because what do I have to lose in a Hatchback that is stock..except interior WHICH I may like to add is not fast(Onyly a b16a and gauges.vtec/af/oil) car cost me $400 dollars and engine swap was about 1400, so all in all with engine parts about $3000 dollars total. We wait and I hold it at 3000 rpm.. light turns green and I get a little scratch. But I wrap it to 8g's and I start to pull on him in second and drop it into third and I was 2 cars ahead of him, as I get into left lane to avoid entering the highway, so that I get into turn around lane.
At the next light they roll up next to me and his girlfriend shakes her head in disbelief, she rolls down her window and the guy says to me to put down some money and race, I was like no because he was probably trying to act hard in front of his girl. He might have been trying to hustle me. But I think he only had a ZC engine(common to CRX swap) and Nitrous==gay. He tried to take off at the light, but we were both behind cars and I wasn't impressed. I want to get turbo,first I need all internal parts(cams,fuel rail,fpr, injectors, etc..), but I don't know which to get for max. performance with b16a in 90 civic HB. Any suggestions?
