if you could have any audio setup what would it be? i just want to see what you guys prefer and help me on some of my choices.

I'd go with the Alpine F1 system. It listens to the sounds in your car and then uses cancling waves to eliminate the noises. The head unit is basically just a crazy control module that controls and other peice of alpine equipment hooked up on the Ai-Net. The 6 DVD changer, xm tuner, dvd navigator, dolby 5.1 decoder, the video selector , and they also have a control unit for the dash that hooks up to their digital amps so you can change all settings without pulling over and popping the trunk. We sell alpine where i work and i think we figured out that if you got all there top of the line ICE it would be about 20,000 or so. It's rediclous :o

Haha, I have thought about this before...I'd go for
Alpine CDA-7998 head unit
2 JL 13W7
2 JL 1000/1
1 JL 500/4 (mids and highs)
JL XR650 CXI (6.5s)
JL VR690-CXI (6x9s)
Of coarse, I'd get some Alpine tvs wired up in the dash and headrest. The subs would be in a fiberglass enclosure possibly surrounded by water. Thats just something quick, I am sure there are 1000s of setups better than that. I personally love JL. And its a dream system!
Ahhh, my Dream System is almost done. . . 4 15" Juggys with a MMATS DH300 on each sub (So far i only have one of the amps, but i have all the subs)... All stuffed into my Peice of shit Honda CRX HF.. . . dont worry. . . the ground effects, 17" Rims, and 4 foot wing will add 170+ hp :lol: :nod: :o :D :P

Well I would start with an Alpine CD player, Infinity kappa seperates up front and a pair of infinity 6.5 mids in the back all wired to 4 channel amp. Not sure what brand, probebly Phoenix gold. My second amp would be a Phoenix Gold ZX450 (my old and favorite amp) wired to either four JL10W7, since those are the nicest subs I have heard or the Brahma subs, since they have impressive specs and will fit better and wont rape my wallet as bad.

Audiobahn's 34" sub is 5,000 watts RMS, 2ohms and $6,000. That's so tight. There would be a helluva time building a good box that could handle that sub. Not to mention the back of your truck would be lower that the front lol.
Even though Sony isn't that great, I would want:
2 Sony Xplod XS-V1632 Speakers in front
2 Sony Xplod XS-V6942 Speakers in back
3 Sony Xplod XS-L1246 12" Subwoofers in trunk
3 Sony Xplod XM-1600GXD amps for subs
1 Sony Xplod XM-475GSX amp for speakers
1 Sony Xplod MEX-5DI Headunit
One day hopefully I'll have this, but for now I'm gonna have to tone it down a little lol.

hmmmm great question
id keep my pioneer 9300 and add i think is the 92 eq
then id upgrade from 3 rockford HE'2 to 3 rockford HX'2 (10 inch) from power id keep my 700.s (750watts) id have 3 one from each sub, then a 200.a2 from my interios which would be memphis components, not to mention dvd player, navagation i already have XM but i would by the $45 dollar wire so im not fm moduation it anymore, ummm that prob all i would want, 10'inch subs are buy far the best size u could get, anyone wanna dispute this, also i would get two more rockfoard 2 fared caps and a super high output alternator, (i already have to jump my car like once a week) my altanator is fried iit last time i check its was only cargrin at liker 9.5 or so....
