you ARE referring to parts for a prelude, right?

yes. i looked up for 89 lude si. and they came up. they were about the only thing cause no one makes parts for an 89.

i've actually never heard of it (the part). it may be a universal part, seeing how there are pretty much ZERO parts out there, sadly, for a 3rd gen or lower prelude. but i'm willing to bet that it's probably better than the stock components. another thing to check out is getting custom-made components (not as much as you think), or looking for any other universal parts or parts from other engines that will bolt onto yours...

like coldfire said, go custom.
you can usually buy one for less than a name brand (although im not sure in this instance) and have it perform better or at least the same as an aftermarket exhaust system.

you take it to a muffler/exhaust shop and tell them what you want.

Custom built is VERY expensive! I had a custom pipe made to go from stock pipe just in front of rear wheels of my Civic to the muffler and with flanges and labor it was @$140 for a length of pipe about 1 1/2ft long. Rediculous. Next time I will go with a built system like a CAT BACK.
As for Pacesetter exhaust, they are the cheapest in price I have seen. Check them out at http://www.nopionline.com/
Hope this helped

not only is pacesetter the cheapest but it is also unreliable, proves very little horsepower gain, and are known to crack...you do get what you pay for. What kind of set up are you trying to do. If i were you i'd bolt a b16 head on there you need a custom head gasket im sure. I've seen this combination once before i just can't remember where. Just an idea...

a b16 head would fit on a b20? i thought it would be too small?
