Before people get pissed! Im from Manchester NH. But am in the military and havent really been there in 4 years. I wasnt into imports until about 2 years ago. When I tell my friends back home about my car and how fast its they trip. My car is nice but Ive seen better here.(hawaii) Until I came here I had never seen a turbo honda. Here turbo civics and hatches with GSR or ITR motors are everywhere. Is it because of the weather or what?

There are lots of fast cars in New England. I've seen fast cars both imports and domestics. There are street driven 10, 11 and 12 second cars around, last year at the dragstrip on friday nights they were there.

Sorry I need to clarify. I meant fast front wheel drive cars. I had a 12 sec camaro when I was in high school. Im only asking because the only imports i saw when I went home were ricers. They all had big stupid lookin wings with a stock motor and thought they were fast. I figured I could bring my car home and make some money street racing  JK

The fastest fwd car I have seen was a civic that ran 13.1's around 107, but that wasn't the norm. Actually, I can only remember a few runing under 14.0 and none under 13.0. Most of the imports around here are ricers, and you could probably clean up. Now there are gsx's,tsi's, rx7's and supera's that are faster. What kind of times do you run?

^^ no shit. I'm not callin' BS cuz 'Tegs are quick as fuck. Sounds like a nice car. I live in Durham. Once you're back in the area you'll eat everyone in your car. Nothin' but pure rice around here. Just last saturday on the way 2 the Rockingham Mall in Salem with a friend in his Talon, we saw 1. a rediculous mercury topaz with a wing and neons, 2. an older civic hatch w/ blackout headlight covers and APC stickers all over it, and 3. the UGLIEST motherfucking crx I have ever witnessed in person. That thing had a wing like you wouldn't believe-and of course it was a roof-mount wing so that made it even uglier. Anyways, props 2 your car!!

Sounds like a quick ride. Are you coming home anytime soon? When are you getting your new motor? When you do we'll have to race.

yea we have fast cars. just not as many shops and places to get stuff. most of parts we have to wait to get from the westcoast and pay more because of shipping. :(
