I'm turning 16 in about 2 months, and up to 2 months ago i've wanted to get a car, but unfortunately i spent like half of what i made working for the year, and I only have about 3000 to spend. This could either buy me a real beater, or a decent bike. I have no riding experience, and this guy from my work who's been riding a few years said that i'd be best off with a 400cc to learn on. What're your guys' opinions on this? Oh yea, another question: is it acutally possible to drive your bike in the winter? Or is pretty much impossible?
Impossible to drive in the winter . Dont get a bike untill you get a car first. Driving cars in the winter sucks , forget about drivin a bike ..

hey its not impossbile to drive in the winter.. i havent done it myself but i have seen it done... i just woul not recommend expecialy if its your first bike ever... the first bike i was ever on was a 250 cc dirt bike and thats really good for just learing about the throtle and clutch and all.... if your looking to get into the crotch rockets then you might wana think about a kawasaki ninja.. maybe a 400 cc would be good you dont really need anything bigger then a 600 tho so dont even think about it cause its way to much to handle.

As long as the streets are dry you can winter ride, but you will freeze your ass off.

Oh yea i forgot to add i'm only 140 pounds, so do you think a 400cc would be too hard for me to control? Or would it be a good bike to learn on?
