Definetly the R-6. That is one of my favorite bikes out today. The suzuki GSX-R 600 is a good bike too. I'm not a real fan of honda motorcycles looks or performance.

Every honda i have ever owned has been a million times more reliable then any yamaha or kawasaki i have owned. not too familiar with susukis, but from what i hear they are good bikes. and the performance on any of the bikes mentioned is enough to blow any normal persons mind.

and once again fuck everybody for not considering the NinjaEh , its because a lot of people these days are gettin bikes just to be cool ( im not saying you are krypto , just people in general) and want to get bikes that they see all the time . These are also the people that end up totaling their bikes and/or killing themselves soon after they get the bike . O well. Ive been a fan of Team Green for years :D Ive never had a problem with Kawi , except for ripping the sprocket off the hub once. Thats about it though , bike always ran great

about the GSX-R. I've only ridden it once and I didn't think the seating was that bad, but I only had it on a short test ride. I'm not sure how it would be over a longer trip. Sorry.

I would go with the Honda. I have a Yamaha Raptor and 2 Honda 400EX's. I also have a Honda CR250, 2 DRZ 400S's, 2 GP1200R's(One with a stage 1 RIVA kit) and a Kawasaki Ultra 150. So I have indepth knowledge of craftsmanship and quality. I will tell you that Honda makes the most reliable machines of the big 4. Hands down. Yamaha comes in a relatively close 2nd. Suzuki 3rd and Kawasaki 4th. This is what I have noticed after riding, braking, and repairing all of these machines. Go with the honda.

Would you rather have someone asking the same question again and having people get all pissed off and telling them to search old ones?

Good luck on insurance. I hope u plan on walking in there with 8K+
Insurance is 5k+ for me for the new r6. (full coverage) I am sure the cbr is the same however
If insurance is not a problem...i have looked at them ALL. i like the r6 the best.

Why not look at the CBR 600RR? Most people seem to like that and the R6. Personally I'm considering the 600RR, as I have a friend that works at a honda motorcycle dealership and I can get a really good deal. Only thing that I have to see about is... well the damned seat ergonomics. I heard that it feels like a damn piece of wood on the CBR 600RR and F4i. The Kawasaki ZX-6R is a good bike, 636cc engine, so a little more displacement than the CBR and R6. In reality the GSX-R 600, R6, CBR 600RR, and ZX-6R are all so close in terms of speed, that it just comes down to rider preference, and price. Oh one other thing I heard about the 600RR is that they don't have room for storing anything more than registration and insurance. *Shrug* Nice to carry a hat for helmet hair. I really like the R6 personally, but the deal I can get on the 600RR is pretty damn nice, so when I get a little more money saved up and a chance to go check it out in person, I'll decide whether it will be Yamaha or Honda.

R6 is a nice bike. But i would also consider the Kawa zx6r, but all in all it doesnt matter what you get they're all fast.

I like the styling of the R-6 that's why in a year I am buying an R1, but I think the Honda has it performance wise if I'm not mistaken. I don't think it is a huge performance difference but it is your choice. I would personally go with the R-6.
