I have heard that in japan they made, at some point in time, a OEM turbo prelude?!?! Does anyone know anything about this, is it true? What's the engine code? Any additional information would be great!!

honda hasnt played with turbos since the mid 80's.

Honda still uses turbos in their formula cars. Back in the 80s they schooled most german formula teams with their turbo set ups. Just some food for thought.

^ you are right, its a shame that they havent used turbo's more. Its not a matter of Honda being able to do it, they must see it as a bad investment to put down time and money for turbo development.

i don't think those $15k civics that are 12 years old and have 300,000 miles on them would be around if they were f/i. that's why honda doesn't make them. why would they? people wanting that type of power represent at most 10% of the market...

thats not true about hondas not putting turbos on their cars since the 80's
the 96-00 integra type rs have a factory option of getting a turbo that i think it brings it over 240 hp.
