um does it only happen when the engine is cold? if so thats the ECU keeping you from hitting VTEC, either way you shouldent romp on the car till its up to operating temp

nope happens all the time. we got this S2000 in the shop and the injectors cut of at 6000 rpm, we found out that much but we don't know why it does it. we even took the scanner to find out what was the problem, and all it told us was the injectors are cutting off.

isnt that the vtec crossover point? if so could it possibly be a faulty vtec solenoid?

oneflyasianguy you shure aren't the smartest person on the block are you?
I hope you were kidding.

As for the S2k....it is under warrantly isn't it? I mean it can't be more than 2 years old. In this case, why even ask? Send it back to honda!

well thanx for all the help... but we figured it out, there was a problem w/ the mapping sensor... we replaced it and now it's runing perfect.
