Code questions

I have an Acura 3.2cl TypeS 2003. 50,600miles. I'm not rough on it an it is as of far stock,(just bought it) Last week I noticed upon start up ck eng light blinks ten times then goes away. I pulled Codes an only came up with P0219 Engine Overspeed Condition. ( I have never Redlinedthis Car....being at 7K). I am a mechanic by profesion but have no acess to honda coding in my shop. Problem is light still blinks at start up even after I cleared code an code has not returned. Is this a maintenance due code? if so why cant I clear an is the oversped condition telling me I may have engine damage?
So far Ive found these threads very helpfull, Ie. ebrake adjustment witch Ill apply as soon as I post this thread. Any advise would be welcome. Pics an hop up progress to follow. This is one ride I feel they shouldnt have discontinued.

i having the same thing i got 99 3.2 tl i got it for two weeks i notice the lite came on my neibor he hook up his scanner told me misfiring controlled auxiliary emission control the number was P1457 . the car have 193,000 miles . thanks
