ok. i want to bridge my amp and run it to 2 speakers. is this possible. is it called running them parallel. the whole bridging thing kinda confuses me. thanks for any help

Yes, it is possible but it depends on your amp and ohms of your speaker. If you are talking about speaker as in 6x9 or components, then most likely they are 4 ohm. You can wire them speaker down to 2 or 8 ohm but you have to make sure your amp can handle 2 or 8 ohm mono (bridged). Most amp I know doesn't. And also, running your speakers at 2 ohm doesn't sound as "clean" as in 4 ohm. But if you talking about subwoofer, then it's a different story.

Check your amp and see what it can handle. A 200 Watt for example mihgt say 50X2 at 4ohms stereo and then may say 200X1 at 2ohms. Also check and see if your subs have single or dual vi=oice coils. For more information about how to wire them up then check out this link from JL Audio.

alright well i got 'er figured out.
i bridged the amp and ran both speakers from the same terminals.... if you see waht im saying...
