View Full Version : jdm motor in a usdm gsr

i have a 99 usdm integra GSR that is
w/ out a motor( it was stolen). and i got a jdm motor that i want to put
into it but then i have absolutly no clue on how to wire it. i have no
problem on putting the motor in but when it comes to the wiering im
lost. is there any way anyone can help me out.

its almost the same thing, but i would have to guess your gonna need, mount if you dont have them, a jdm ecu, if you dont have it, and several other things

i have all the mounds and the jdm ecu, but onlY half of the wiering harness is good the other half was cut. wat else would i need.and will the jdm ecu pass california smog?

oh i dont know anything about that, i heard its tough to pass a car in cali though, good luck, i would get a new wiring harness out of a wrecked car or something

well the harnes that i have was cut under the dashboard. so i have the jdm engine part. wat else will i need. cuz my gsr has 4 conectors coming out thru the fire wall but the engin only has 3 conectors.

if they're the same engine, just use your stock ecu, and find a wiring harness at a junk yard for it. just make sure the obd's match up.
