Well comming from Towers this past Saturday, my friend (2k2 protege) and I (99civicex) are on 95 on our way home. I guess were were driving between 85 and 90 when we see this car with its lights off in the far left emergency lane near the highway wall. I'm thinkin its just a car that gave out on the highway because its normal to see one every now and then. Well it turns out to be one of the new state trooper z28's (this is in Florida) so we both put it into neutral instead of breaking hard because it may draw the cops attention to hear two "souped up cars down-shifting and see two sets of headlights diving downward in his rear view. Well after we pass him and my good ol' radar finally decides to show the KA band I look at my friend and yell "thats a good ass spot". Sure enough about 2 minutes later, we see these two pair of headlights weaving in and out of traffic comming hella fast, then the troopers blue and white lights doing the same. As it turns out they're 2 bikes running from the trooper since they keep looking back. I dont know if you can picture it but we're going up one bridge when they passed, and theres a second one about a good quater-mile down. As we're comming down the first one they were going up the second and the troopers about half way. So I know they're going alot faster than my civic can go. By time we get up the second one I cant even make them out in the traffic. I'm thinkin to myself that myself if that was me i'd just turn off my lights and get off at one of the exits, before he called for backup. I know it was a stupid thing to do but come on, if you were on a bike speeding on the highway and passed a cop who would have to pick up speed, get back into traffic then try to catch you, would you pull over or take your chance?

thats awesome, another reason i fucking want a bike. you can make it fast enough to rape any cop car easily :lol: except maybe that viper theyve got somewhere around here... :uhoh: oh well, it could still be done.

Dude run i have done it in Colorado Springs on the interstate!!! Just give it hell and dont stop till you cant see them then get the hell of the interstate!!!! Get your shit to a friends house or your house and wait for a coupple of hours...Its some scary shit but the best felling when you get away!!!

You cant turn the lights off on most bikes, not unless you modify it with a switch anyhow. You just cant see the running lights during the day.

I would never run from the cops.
1. Unless your going away for life you are only going to make shit 10 times worse if they get you.
2. You endanger innocents.
3. The cop is only doing his/ her job so why make him risk his life chasing you cause you were a dumbass and got caught screwing around?
4. A LOT of cops are cool with riders anyhow, he might have even let them go if they pulled it over. I would have if I was the cop.

i live kinda in the sticks,and the town clowns around here are as useless as a jug full of piss in a hailstorm,so running from them aint really that hard,and i think the smallest cop on the force weighs around 300 lbs,so they dont like to get out of the car anyways.im kinda the luke duke of the town of crawford 8)
