I am planning on putting a system in my 99 civic cause i can't stand those stock speakers anymore. I was looking at alpine type r components up front, and either alpine or infinity 6x9's in back. Also Pioneer head units look good....what do u guys think of this setup?

go w/ the alpine type-r components up front and the 6x9 type-r's in the back, but get an amp, cuz if you turn up the music and you just have a head unit your gonna blow the speakers soon.

If your running an amp to your speakers, just make sure it has a crossover, but the type r speakers I heard are really nice.

Doesnt sound to bad. But on the pioneer head unit i would go with something else. Maybe kenwood. but my experience with pioneer head units and my friends experiences havent been good. my friend had blown 3 head units and i just fried my enternal amp and i just bought it like a month ago. so thats my oppinion. i got a dehp6300 for sell if you still want a pioneer unit. and thats not the one that just blew that ones getting fixed. this one is fine.
