I just bought a Black Widow kit from GroundDesigns2000. I went to a local body shop to price out how much it would be to install and they told me about a grand or more. So I decided to just put it on myself, but I was wondering if anyone had any sites where theres a walkthrough on how to put it on, or anything helpful to say. I have a 93 Prelude.

Thanks

bodykit should be pretty easy but how are u going to paint it?

front and rear bumper covers are easy to remove and replace just follow the bolt pattern. Side skirts line it up and drill the holes......

im sorry your so special.... but u know that most likely shaving is goin to be involved to mount tha kit properlly...
Hense tha reason they want $1k -- do know how much of a pain in tha A$s it is to make sure all tha gaps are evan - that the kit lines are even w/ tha body lines...

all that & soo much more-- aswell as makin custom brackets for a tight fit...

Spend tha $1k
-------------
oh & as for painting-- i dunno if u have a Levine's around there but they will take your paint code & put your paint into a rattle can for u, for like $28-- so u can spray that bad boy yourself.. theres a place ontha web that does it-- toms something... whateva...

Yea, just spend the money to get it done right. It'll save you a lot of trouble.

why dont you get various quotes from different shops?

sideskirts dont need to be drilled, they can be put on using double sided tape (no not the stuff you buy at the supermarket)

best to drill the sides in from the fenders and use double sided tape for the part that goes along inside the door........for the rear look at the way the holes are made for the stock bumper
there 5 holes on the top part of the rear bumper 4 oval ones ont eh outside and 1 circle one in the middle make sure u drill the holes the same way for ur aftermarket bumper...it helps keep down the bending and bulging on the sides when u put it on if u do it urself
