What is EFX? What are the hi/low rise input (or something like that) These are the questions i have about a new 600-watt Jensen amp

What ever you do dont get a Jensen amp. They are low, bad quality. If you want to get good sound you will actually have to spend some money. Logics are semi cheap not the best in the world but are alot better then jensen. Audiobahn, Rockford Fosgate (sp), Kenwood are pretty good amps.

Hi/Low is how you want to set the level of frequency. High is set for your mids, and low is set for sub only. EFX I don't really know what that is, some sort of sound filtering I guess.

For good deals on new amps check EBay.
Look to spend 100-300bucks on the amp.
Volfenhag <new company for me, going in the civic. 1000w into two 12" Volfenhag subs.

the hi low switch is prob a built in crossover, so it ur running it to a sub for example you would switch it to low. jensen products are crap. i woudl avoid this amp if u dont already own it.
