adding teeth to the sprocket
i think adding more teeth to the front sprocket will make the torque smoother(but dont take my word for it ) . someone correct me if im wrong

ok, for one thing boost, you wont want to add 2 teeth to the front, that's equivalent to 6 in to the rear. as for the smoothness of torque, that's a little hard to tell. i would have to say goin up to the rear, i only say that because of the stress put on the chain when decreasing the front.i really boubt you can notice though, but i would go up in the rear first

if i were you, i would either drop one on the front, or add 2 to the rear... but still, it don't think it would affect torque smoothness. the smoothness of torque is based on engine type, carburation/fI map used.

accually im sorry i posted this when i was a little tipsy, let me clarify my question, i took 2 teeth off the front sprocket and it make the bike really jumpy, which is fine but it still doesnt want to lift in 2nd without me clutching it hard, now i really dont have anything aftermarket done so its still the stock ~130hp now i would think it has enough tq to pull a wheelie in 2nd stock but it feels like a damn dog. i mean it moves like a bat outa hell when i gun it but the front end doesnt lift outa first just by using the throttle. yea its great for cruising but i like doing wheelies

what kinda bike is it anyways?... damn man, 2 off the front is a LOT. that's like reducing ur overall gear ratio by 15%each gear, and lengthening the wheelbase by about 10mm. and the lengthier the wheelbase, the harder it is for you to do wheelies. if anything, add 3 teeth to the rear, this should reduce the wheelbase making it slightly easier to do wheelies.
